Google adds brand name to the title mandatory
One of the main factor google is using to rank websites, is the effectiveness of a brand. For example, if a grocery shop is called “Tasty garden”, google finds all the linked or unlinked references for this brand name.
Last years, google started to add the brand name to the title tag in its search engine mandatorily if it “feels” is the most suitable for search. The same happens to the meta description as well. Also, this happens almost only to the main page.
The reason behind this is the user experience; UX. In simple English, to better meet the need of the user. Actually, google’s and all search engines‘ first priority is to keep people satisfied in their search engines by find answers and solutions to what they are searching. So by adding the brand name of all websites to the title can affect in a big percentage the final decision of the user by choosing the landing website.
Another reason google adds trademark front of the title tag is the competition. Some websites used to grab seo traffic using other brand names so for sure this strategy really helps.
